DESCRIPTION
During this semester of math, we learned probability, similarity and quadratics. In this class we mostly focused on working together as a team/group. This clas created an enviroment where we werent afraid to make mistakes, and to be able to ask questions about anything that you were wondering about the problems. Some of the problems in math were really hard when I fist started learning them but by the time I got the hang of it. Something that I did to know if I really understood the problem, was that I would try to explain it to someone in an easier way. I feel like if you can do that then you understand it pretty well.
ARTIFACT
For each of these portfolios, you had to choose 6 different worksheets that you did for the topic of the portfolio and you had to explain your thoughts, the problem, and how to solve it. I felt like these portfolios helped the teacher see how much the students learned and whagt they though anout the hndouts that he gave the students. I also feel like it helps the students look back on hat they did and what they leanred about the topics.
REFLECTION
I am really proud of myself because I pushed myslef to talk mor during class, and one specific momne twas when we were learning about similarity, and in class we were trying to show that the two triangles were similar to each other, and I went to the board nd explained it. I was really pround of myslef because if that was me in the beggining of the year and even second semester, I would of been really nervious and my face would of gotten really red, but I didn't feel nervious at all which made me really happy.
